Intro
This is a short product motion study focused on understanding how controlled movement, framing, and timing can enhance the reading of a physical object. The goal was to highlight the tactile controls and unique functions, particularly the motorized reel, through a rhythmic and clean visual narrative.

Storyboard
The storyboard was used as a planning tool to define structure and pacing before moving into detailed animation. Instead of focusing on narrative, it helped map out key product moments, camera positions, and the duration each shot needed to hold. This stage made it easier to decide where motion was necessary and where stillness would be more effective, ensuring that each transition had a clear purpose.

Camera Movement & Composition
Camera movement was kept minimal and intentional for harsher movements, or change of focus the camera itself was shifted. Angles were chosen to feel neutral and observational, allowing the product to remain the focal point at all times. Negative space and framing were used deliberately to reduce visual noise and maintain a strong sense of hierarchy.

Scene setup & Lighting
Lighting was treated as a functional element rather than a dramatic one. The setup prioritises edge definition and material clarity. Reflections and highlights were carefully balanced to support the form without distracting from it.
